What I like to read:  young adult/teen fiction, romantic suspense, thrillers, horror (especially horror about zombies), inspirational/Christian fiction (especially contemporary fantasy and thrillers, but not books that preach at me incessantly), mysteries (including cozies, and especially wacky/funny/off-the-wall/specialized-occupation cozies), GLBQT fiction, women's fiction, television serials (especially C.S.I., C.S.I.: MIAMI, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, and QUANTUM LEAP), books about cults, and non-fiction about any topic that I find interesting.  Some true crime, some chick-lit.  I don't read historical fiction AT ALL.  I like fantasy, but only if it's contemporary fantasy.  Same with paranormal stories, which I love, but they have to be contemporary.  I only read a select bit of science fiction. 

I collect books by Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and J.D. Robb, as well as BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, QUANTUM LEAP, and STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION titles -- you won't find these books on my bookshelf unless I have multiple copies.  My  son collects books about video games, video game serialized novels, and the choose-your-own-ending GOOSEBUMPS books.

**I am currently on an anthology and zombie kick.  As an added bonus, I can even read ANTHOLOGIES about ZOMBIES!  =)

**No one smokes inside my home, so that shouldn't be an issue.  I do have a cat; however, my books are stored in a spare room with the doors closed, where the cat is not allowed,  But I can't guarantee that tape used to wrap your package might not have a stray cat hair or two along for the ride!
